WOW Rogue Leveling Guide

In world of warcraft there is only one king of DPS, and that king is the Rogue. The world of warcraft Rogue is very unique because of its' incredible ability to enter a fight, do very high DPS and then vanish into the shadows. The Rogues limited armor and lack of self healing hardly hurts the Rogue when you take into consideration its' great damage dealing ability. The Rogues' ninja like stealth enables it to attack using it's disengages, interrupts and stuns with such DPS that the attacked foe never has a chance to respond to the threat. No class can do everything and the Rogue is no exception. The Rogue has no long range damage dealing attacks which keeps the Rogue in melee or lurking in the shadows. Simply put, the Rogue though not being armored as well as say a warrior still spends most of its' time in the most dangerous of situations.

Some points to consider when choosing a Rogue race:

Which race you choose as a Rogue will make a big difference in the long run. Many races are available to the Rogue, be sure to check them all out.

On the Alliance side:

The dwarf race will benefit the Rogues' Lockpicking abilities using Find Treasure, but not much else. The dwarves Mace Specialization will help, providing you use of a mace. The dwarf races Stoneform gives the Rogue help against bleeds, diseases and poisons.
Gnome's possess Engineering which may be used to create some neat items to help the Rogue, they also have Escape Artist which will obviously be a plus.
The human is a flexible race with Diplomacy, Sword and Mace Specialization and Every Man for Himself are all handy but not crucial for the Rogue.
The Rogue will benefit from the night elves cloaking skill known as Shadowmeld and the Rogues ability to dodge will be increased by 1%.

Races available to the Horde:

The blood elf has Magic Resistance which the Rogue would not have otherwise and Arcane Torrent is quite handy to any class.
The orcs Hardness is a great help to a Rogues defenses and Blood Fury makes the Rogues all ready awesome DPS even better.
Troll's seem kinda wierd as a Rogue but they do help fight enemies crowd control using Da Voodoo Shuffle, self healing with Regeneration and increased damage using Berserker.
The undead has Cannibalize to keep the Rogue from wasting time resting when soloing and Will of the Forsaken works excellent in PVP.

As a new Rogue your main attack is Sinister Strike which you will use teamed up with Throw and Eviscerate. After you get some gold, you may want to purchase the Stealth skill.

Once you get your Rogue to level 4, Backstab should be your new attack of choice along with Sinister Strike and Throw. The Pick Pocket ability will be very helpful as well.

WOW Power Leveling Guide
A new attack called Gouge comes up at level 6, it's a very good attack but you can also level up Sinister Strike to level 2 making it even better. Eviscerate should still be used as a finishing move.

At level 8 be sure to raise Eviscerate to rank 2 and learn Evasion to help you get out of tricky situations.

At level 10 you will have to start making some choices on which specialization you wish to pursue. Take a good look at your different talent tree's to help you decide how you will want to use your talent point's. By the time you reach level 17 you should have your Rogue set up in the direction you want to specialize in.

From this point on there is too much information to possibly mention in this article, just pay attention to changes in your Rogues abilities and try to focus on your preferred specialization.

Thanks and Happy Gaming.

WOW Priest Leveling Guide

For those of you that are experianced world of warcraft players, you understand just how valuable a priest is to a group. When it comes to healing abilities, no other class compares to a priest. Being a priest means that you will be staying clear of the fighting and focusing your efforts on keeping your group in top health to fight foes and defend you and other long range characters in your group.

WOW Priest Leveling & Quest Guide
Priest PVP Guide
Although the priest is the most powerful healer in world of warcraft, healing is just a small part of what the priest is capable of. Group play is what the priest is most adapted to. When a priest gets up to the higher levels they are very capable at soloing but early on it's best to play with a group. Don't let this discourage you from choosing to play a Priest though, it is a very powerful range damage character and is very respected by other classes. One last thing before we move on, when playing a Priest in PVP don't be surprised when you find the other team concentrating more on killing you than the rest of your group. Yet another reason the priest is exciting to play. Your abilities as a Priest are much needed by the rest of your group.

WOW Mage Leveling & Quest Guide
Mage PVP Guide
There used to be just seven races available to the priest class, draenei's,dwarves, human's or night elves (Alliance) blood elves, troll's or undead (Horde).

Now that we have the Cataclysm pack, you may play your priest as a gnome, tauren and both of the new goblin or worgen races.

Ok, enough chat lets get your wow priest up a few levels.

WOW Shaman Leveling & Quest Guide
Shaman PVP Guide
The Lesser Heal spell and long range damage Smite spell will be your primary offensive and defensive abilities to start, and once you are able to use the Power Word Fortitude this will be a big help. Fortitude will assist your group, so as of now you will want to have it on all the time until you get something better. Even though the priest is the premier healer in world of warcraft does not mean that they don't have to keep a close eye on their own health and especially their mana, your group is relying on you to keep them healed and if you die so may they. Obviously the priest is not a hand to hand kinda class so maintain your position towards the back of the group, you are most effective when your can stay focused on your range spells. The farther you are from your enemies the better, let the hand to hand characters fight up close.

Once you reach level 4 you can use the debuff Shadow Word Pain, you will find this very helpful on your early levels. This should be your primary spell for a while but you may want to go back to Fortitude occasionally. Restart Shadow Word Pain when you need to as it will wear off after a while, in the mean time keep using Smite for some mob control.

World of Warcraft Strategy Guide
The very effective defensive buff Power Word Shield can be used once you get to level 6, it's a shielding buff just as it sounds. Using this buff is essential to the somewhat defenseless priest, even though you will have others defending you in a group this buff is a nice plus. Also at level 6 you will want to visit a trainer to get your first substantial quest, take it and complete it as soon as you can.

World of Warcraft Leveling Guide
Leveling to level 8 will let you use the HOT spell known as Renew and also Fade. The Renew spell is your first HOT (Heal Over Time) type spell that you will get, this works great for you and your group so use it regularly. Fade is used to distract your enemies from you by controling your aggro.

At level 10 things really get fun for your WOW priest with the introduction of Mind Blast. Using Mind Blast will greatly increase your damage dealing without using up all your mana. You now have the Resurrection spell which will let you resurrect your fellow players. Once your WOW priest gets up to level 10 you will get a talent point which you can use on one of your talent tree's, so put some thought to what kind of WOW Priest you would like to become.

WOW Dungeon Maps Guide
You will finally get a good defensive buff called Inner Fire when you reach level 12, use it to protect against enemy attacks.

Well, there you have it. This will get you off to a good start and by this time you should have a good feel on how to play a priest in WOW, think ahead a bit and you will do very well. You may want to get a complete guide for playing you WOW priest to make the higher levels much easier.

Game On!

WOW Paladin Leveling Guide

Leveling a Paladin is great fun but it also calls for extensive flexibility. You may be tanking with your party now, but two minutes from now you will be busy as the party healer. This is not a problem for the adaptable Paladin class. The Paladin is primarily a melee class that favors the sword or mace but is not very potent at dealing long range damage. Not being very powerful with long range damage is not much of a concern for the hand to hand fighting Paladin.

WOW Paladin Leveling & Quest GuidePaladin PVP Guide
Some points to consider when choosing a Paladin race:

When starting out as a Paladin in the original wow it was a Alliance only class with only two races to choose from. Your wow Paladin had to either be a dwarf or a human. This greatly narrowed down the playing abilities of the Paladin in world of warcraft which deterred some people from playing a Paladin. The humans ten percent bonus to reputation gained didn't benefit the Paladin much until you got to the higher levels. As a dwarf Paladin you had the bonuses of Stone Form and Cold Resistance, but the Gun Specialization of dwarves was of no use. Both races made for a fine Paladin in wow with little advantage to either one.

WOW Death Knight Leveling & Quest Guide
Death Knight PVP Guide
The Burning Crusade expansion pack made the world of warcraft Paladin no longer an alliance only class, bringing in the horde blood elf race. Also the new alliance race, (the draenei) is now able to become a Paladin bringing their Hot spell and aura of plus hit %.

The Paladin is a very effective character class but in the begining take it slow and don't be too aggressive when leveling. If you don't learn how to best play a Paladin in world of warcraft right from the start you may miss out later in the game. Whenever possible don't stay in the heat of battle too long. Do every quest you can find at first, they will help you get a better feeling of wow.

WOW Druid Leveling & Quest Guide
Druid PVP Guide
There may be quests in world of warcraft that you will not find unless you look for them, so talk to all NPC's in each area you are in.

Each trainer in wow has lots to teach about leveling up so learn all they have to offer. Also you will want to check out available professions that you might want to learn. You will need to learn professions so look into them early. Some professions are better than others, you will find certain professions to be helpful to you in your early levels but others more beneficial as you get to the higher levels. This may sound a little strange at this point but after you get through the first half a dozen levels or so you should put a little gold aside so that when you hit level twenty you can buy a mount to speed up your leveling in the wow.

WOW Hunter Leveling & Quest Guide
Hunter PVP Guide
Paladin soloing or playing with a team:

The fact that the Paladin can self heal and can use auras to add to its' offensive and defensive skills makes it a fantastic soloing class. If you are playing a Paladin you should take advantage of its' excellent soloing ability. I recommend soloing as much as possible and only join a party when you come upon very challenging areas. The Paladin can be played as a tank and a healer which makes it a valuable team player when you are not playing solo.

WOW Strategy Guide
The retribution spec is a great help to the Paladin and should be use as soon as possible to increase your melee damage. If you prefer a one handed weapon along with a shield that’s fine , but I find that a good two handed axe, sword or hammer works the best. The Paladin spends allot of time tanking or soloing and needs to concentrate mostly on dealing massive damage. A two handed hammer will generally inflict more DPS than a one handed hammer. Many gamers keep both a two handed and a one handed weapon with them at all times to handle multiple situations. On the flip side of using a high DPS two handed weapon you will want to get mail armor as soon as possible, preferably with bonuses to strength and stamina. Other bonuses will be helpful to you also but for now try to get armor with these two.
